Garden Waste Removal in Dubai, Bagged and Gone in One Visit
Garden waste piles up fast in Dubai — one palm trim can leave a driveway full of fronds. Send photos of the pile on WhatsApp and we confirm one fixed price in writing before we arrive. Small loads start from AED 150, and the crew bags, loads and sweeps the area in a single visit. No loose piles left at the gate, and no second trip.

What counts as garden waste?
If it grew in the garden, or it held something that did, it usually counts:
- Palm fronds and palm trunks — the bulk of most loads. One mature palm can shed enough fronds in a single trim to fill the back of a truck.
- Branches, tree and hedge cuttings — from a routine trim to a full tree cut back.
- Grass clippings and fallen leaves — bagged on site, not blown into the street.
- Soil and sand — from planting beds, dig-outs and landscaping changes. Heavy, so priced by volume and weight.
- Old turf and artificial grass — rolled up and taken, including worn artificial lawns.
- Broken pots, planters and garden edging — plus dead plants, old hoses and broken garden furniture.
Unsure about something in the pile? Put it in the photos and we will price it in, or tell you the right route for it.
How much does garden waste removal cost in Dubai?
These are the typical ranges you will see across the city:
| Load size | Typical price | What it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Small | From AED 150 | A few bags of cuttings, one palm trim |
| Medium | From AED 350 | A full tidy-up of a small villa garden |
| Large | From AED 600 | Several trees cut back, soil and turf from a big garden |
| Extra large | From AED 800+ | Large villa gardens, full garden clearances |
Two things set the price: how much there is, and how much bagging it needs. Loose fronds, scattered clippings and dug-out soil take longer to gather than waste your gardener has already bagged. Weight matters too — soil is a far heavier load than the same pile in dry fronds. Your price is fixed from your photos, so the number confirmed in writing is the number you pay. The wider price picture is in our pricing guide.
How it works
- Send photos on WhatsApp. Show the whole pile and the garden around it, so the load size is honest. Add your community name and a location pin.
- Get your fixed price in writing. One number covering the bagging, the loading and the trip. If the pile on site matches your photos, that number does not change.
- We arrange the gate pass. Most villa communities need a pass or security clearance for a contractor truck. We sort it before the day, so the crew is not held at the gatehouse.
- We bag, load and sweep. Everything is bagged on site, loaded, and the area is swept before we leave. After-photos are sent, and you pay when the work is finished.
Can the Municipality take garden waste free?
Not through the free service — worth knowing before fronds sit by the bins for a week. Dubai Municipality’s free collection, booked on WhatsApp 800900, is a bulky-item service for furniture and appliances. Collections run 5–11am every day except Saturday, the wait is usually around three days, and items must be down at ground level. It does not cover garden waste, and it does not run in some free zones, including Palm Jumeirah and Discovery Gardens.
Loose fronds, branches and soil cannot go out with the normal household bins, and there is no free crew that will bag a garden pile for you. Bagging and hauling is the crew’s job: we arrive with bags and a truck, and the pile leaves with us in the same visit. For what the free service does cover, see our junk removal page.
Villa community rules we plan around
Most garden waste work is in villa communities — Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills, Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim, Al Barsha and streets like them — and most communities have rules for contractor vehicles:
- Gate passes — a pass or security clearance arranged beforehand, with truck and crew details logged before arrival.
- Set hours for garden work — many communities limit noisy work and contractor access to certain hours, and some keep Fridays quiet.
- Nothing staged on the street — waste left waiting on the pavement or by the gate draws complaints, and leaving items in the wrong place carries a fine of AED 500. We bag and load in the same visit instead.
Tell us your community when you send your photos and we plan the visit inside its rules. For whole-property clearances — house and garden together — see our villa clearout page.
Summer timing: the midday break
From 15 June to 15 September, outdoor work in Dubai stops between 12:30pm and 3pm by law. In those months we book garden jobs for the early morning or the late afternoon, and heavy work like palm cutting is planned so the crew finishes, or pauses, before the break starts. If your community has its own quiet hours, tell us and we will work around those too.
Questions people ask us
How much does garden waste removal cost in Dubai?
Small loads start from AED 150, medium loads from AED 350, large loads from AED 600, and extra-large garden clearances from AED 800. The price follows the volume, the weight and the bagging work involved. Send photos of the pile on WhatsApp and we confirm one fixed price in writing before we arrive.
What counts as garden waste?
Palm fronds and trunks, branches and hedge cuttings, grass and leaves, soil and sand, old turf and artificial grass, and broken pots and planters. If it grew in the garden or held something that did, it counts. Put anything you are unsure about in your photos and we will price it in.
Do you take soil and turf?
Yes. Soil, sand and old turf are heavy, so they are priced by volume and weight from your photos. Bagged soil is simple; a full bed dig-out or a stripped lawn is a bigger load. Show the whole area in your photos and the fixed price covers all of it, bagging included.
Can the Municipality take my garden waste free?
Not through the free service. Dubai Municipality’s free collection, booked on WhatsApp 800900, covers bulky furniture and appliances at ground level, 5–11am except Saturdays — it is not a garden waste service. Loose fronds, branches and soil need bagging and a truck, which is the job a garden waste crew does.
How quickly can you come?
Usually within a day or two, and same day when the schedule allows and you message early. In summer, garden jobs are booked for the morning or late afternoon, around the midday break from 12:30pm to 3pm. Send photos of the pile and we will offer you the nearest slot that fits.
Do you work in villa communities with gate security?
Yes — most of our garden work is in communities like Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills, Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim and Al Barsha. Communities usually ask for a gate pass or security clearance for contractor trucks, and many set hours for garden work. Tell us your community with your photos and we arrange the pass first.
