Appliance Removal in Dubai, Priced From a Photo
An old appliance is the awkward job in any home: heavy, plumbed in, and stuck on the wrong side of a service lift. Send us a photo of the item and where it sits, and we confirm one fixed price in writing before we arrive — no new price at your door, and no old fridge left sitting by the bins.
A single appliance in Dubai typically costs AED 100–150 to collect. If several appliances are going at once — the whole kitchen, say — they are priced together as one load. The crew takes each item as it stands, so you do not have to drag anything to the door first.

What appliances do we take?
- Fridges and freezers — working or not, single-door to side-by-side
- Washing machines and tumble dryers — including stacked units
- Dishwashers — freestanding and built-in
- Ovens, cookers and hobs — taken out as complete units
- AC units — wall-mounted splits and outdoor units
- TVs and electronics — screens, computers and home entertainment equipment
Not sure about an item? Send the photo. If we cannot take it, we will tell you the right route for it.
How much does appliance removal cost in Dubai?
| Job | Typical price in Dubai |
|---|---|
| Single appliance — fridge, washer, AC unit | AED 100–150 |
| Several appliances, priced as one load | AED 200–300 |
| Large load, or a same-day collection | AED 300–600+ |
Four things move the price: the size and weight of the item, whether the crew faces stairs or a lift, whether it needs disconnecting, and how far it has to be carried. Your photo shows most of that, which is why the price confirmed from it in writing is the price you pay on the day.
How it works
- Send a photo on WhatsApp. Show the appliance and the room around it, and tell us your area and floor. The photo is what your fixed price is built on.
- Get your fixed price in writing. One number for the whole job — crew, truck, loading and the recycling route. If the item on site matches the photo, that number does not change.
- We sort the lift and the permit. If you are in a tower, we arrange the move NOC and the service-lift booking with your building management before the day.
- The crew takes it as it stands. No need to move the appliance to the door or down to the bins first. You pay when the job is finished.
The free options, honestly
Appliances are one of the few things Dubai will collect from your home free — twice over, if you count e-waste. It is worth knowing both routes before you pay anyone:
- Dubai Municipality collects bulky appliances free. Book on WhatsApp 800900. Collections run 5–11am every day except Saturday, the wait is usually around three days, and items must be down at ground level — the crew will not come up to your floor. The service does not run in some free zones, including Palm Jumeirah and Discovery Gardens. Our guide covers the details: Dubai Municipality free bulky waste collection.
- E-waste has its own free route. Under the Municipality’s agreement with Enviroserve, residents can book free home collection of e-waste — TVs, computers and smaller electronics — through the Municipality.
- A paid crew earns its money when the appliance is upstairs, it is broken and heavy, there are several to go at once, or it has to be gone today because the replacement is being delivered this afternoon.
Where your old appliance goes
Metal from fridges, washers and AC units is sorted for recycling, and electronics go through Enviroserve channels as e-waste. The rest goes to facilities approved by Dubai Municipality.
It matters because the fine for a dumped load can land on the person who hired the crew. Leaving bulky items in the wrong place carries a fine of AED 500, and dumping fines for individuals run up to AED 5,000. So ask any crew, including us, where your appliance goes. If they cannot answer clearly, do not book them.
Towers, stairs and access
Most appliance pickups are in towers, and towers run on paperwork: a move NOC from building management, and a separate service-lift booking. In Emaar communities the NOC alone can take up to five working days, so we start it the day you book. Older blocks in Karama and Deira often have no goods lift at all — tell us your floor when you message and we send a crew sized for the stairs, with the carry priced into your fixed quote.
Before electronics leave: wipe your data
Computers, laptops and smart TVs hold personal data, and once an item enters the recycling stream, the data on it cannot be recovered. Before collection day, back up what you need, run a factory reset, or take the hard drive out and keep it. Five minutes of wiping is worth it.
Questions people ask us
How much does appliance removal cost in Dubai?
Removing one appliance — a fridge, a washing machine, an AC unit — typically costs AED 100–150 in Dubai. Several appliances are priced together as one load, usually AED 200–300. Send a photo of the item and where it sits, and we confirm one fixed price in writing before we arrive.
Can I get appliances collected free in Dubai?
Often, yes. Dubai Municipality collects appliances free when you book on WhatsApp 800900 — items at ground level, collections 5–11am except Saturdays, and a wait of around three days. TVs and computers also have a free home e-waste collection through the Municipality’s agreement with Enviroserve.
Do you take broken appliances?
Yes. Most appliances we collect no longer work — that is usually why they are going. Working or broken makes no difference to the job: the crew loads the item as it stands, takes it for recycling, and leaves the space clear. Send a photo and the fixed price covers the lot.
Do I need to disconnect or move the appliance first?
No. Send a photo of the appliance where it stands and the crew takes it from there — you do not need to drag a fridge to the door or down to the bins first. Empty and defrost fridges and freezers the day before, and the rest is the crew’s job.
How fast can you collect?
Same day, if you message early and your building’s lift and permit rules allow it. Appliances often need collecting the day a replacement is delivered, and a paid crew is the route for that. Send photos in the morning and we will confirm a 2-hour arrival window in writing.
What happens to my old appliance?
Metal from fridges, washers and AC units is sorted for recycling, and electronics go through Enviroserve channels as e-waste. The rest goes to facilities approved by Dubai Municipality. Nothing is left by the bins or on empty land — dumping fines for individuals run up to AED 5,000.
